For this project we had to check a main shaft and brakediscs of a Reineveld centrifuge send to us by one of our customers. CSE has a strict protocol when it comes to inspections of used parts.

For this project we :

• Disassambled the main bearing

• Disassambled the brakediscs

• Thoroughly cleaned the parts

• Shotblasted the brakediscs

• Visual inspected the parts

• Checked the dimensions of the brakediscs

• Checked the dimension of the shaftholder

• Dye penetrant examined the main shaft

• Dye penetrant examined the brakediscs

• Did a complete mechanical checkup of the main shaft, such as; run out, tolerance, etc.

• Finalized our results in an inspection report
